Developer JBG Companies had a vision: live, play, dine, shop, be. The result is North Bethesda Market, a self-contained, mixed use community environment along bustling Rockville Pike. The development offers both high-rise and mid-rise residences, retail amenities, restaurants, office spaces and a public plaza from which to take it all in.
North Bethesda Market is a 1.2 million square-foot mixed-use project. It features 399 apartments spread between two towers and a third building with retail and office space. The landmark 24-story tower, known as Market East, is the tallest structure constructed in Montgomery County. Market West is a midrise building with 210 apartments spread over four floors. Its ground level is a two-story, 63,000 square-foot Whole Foods. Restaurants and retail outlets pepper the development offering residents and guests a multitude of dining and shopping options.
For the project, Tidewater Glazing installed over 80,000 square feet of multi-story, custom-splayed, unitized curtain wall at the main tower, along with balcony fronts, high-span storefronts, metal panel systems and monumental entrance systems.
